Terms & Conditions
MB Travel Group – Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Agency Role & Third-Party Service Providers
Â
MB Travel Group acts as a travel agent only. We sell various travel-related products and services on behalf of third-party service providers (airlines, tour operators, hoteliers, cruise lines, transfer providers, and insurers). Our obligation is to make bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and those service providers. All bookings are subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations of liability imposed by these third-party providers.
Â
2. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Â
Our booking and advisory services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law:
-
Services will be provided with due care and skill.
-
Services will be reasonably fit for the specified purpose.
-
Services will be provided within a reasonable time frame.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under the ACL.
Â
3. Passports, Visas & Health Requirements
Â
-
Passports: All travellers require a valid passport for international travel. Many countries require at least 6 months validity from your planned date of return. Unless advised otherwise, we assume all travellers hold a valid Australian passport.
-
Visas & Entry Permits: It is your sole responsibility to ensure you have valid visas, re-entry permits, and entry/transit authorizations (such as US ESTA or Canada ETA).
-
Health & Vaccinations: You must ensure you meet all health, entry, and vaccination requirements for your destination and transit points.
Â
4. Travel Documents & Accuracy
Â
Travel documents include airline tickets, hotel vouchers, or tour confirmations.
-
All passenger names on bookings must match the passport/photo ID exactly. Incorrect names may result in ticket cancellation, denial of boarding, or re-issuance fees.
-
Please review all documentation, dates, and spelling carefully upon receipt and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.
Â
5. Prices, Deposits & Payment
Â
-
Prices: All quotes are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice until full payment is received and tickets/vouchers are issued.
-
Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking.
-
Payment Processing: Payments made via credit card, debit card, or merchant platforms may attract merchant surcharge fees.
Â
6. MB Travel Group Service Fees
Â
In addition to fees charged by third-party service providers, MB Travel Group charges agency service fees for travel advisory, itinerary management, and processing:
-
Booking Fee (otherwise known as a 'Package') per booking.
-
These fees can be found by clicking here.
Â
7. Changes & Cancellations by You
Â
-
If you need to amend or cancel a booking, you must request it in writing.
-
Cancellations or changes are subject to both MB Travel Group’s service fees and the individual terms and conditions of the third-party provider (which may include 100% non-refundable fares/rates).
Â
8. Changes & Cancellations by Travel Providers
Â
-
Airlines and operators reserve the right to alter schedules, routes, or cancel services. MB Travel Group is not liable for schedule changes or supplier cancellations.
-
Insolvency: We are not liable for any loss, damage, or refund in the event of third-party service provider insolvency or force majeure events.
Â
9. Travel Insurance
Â
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Your policy should cover cancellation costs, medical expenses, personal injury, baggage loss, emergency repatriation, and travel delays.
Â
10. Privacy Policy
Â
We handle your personal information in accordance with Australian Privacy Laws. Personal details provided to MB Travel Group will only be shared with relevant third-party travel providers to fulfill your travel arrangements.
Â
11. Governing Law
These booking terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales (and the Commonwealth of Australia).
